I got a sketchpad for my birthday, right? And I’ve been itching to write and draw at the same time. So, what’s the best thing to do to accomplish both? Draw my own manga, of course!

I’ve been drawing comics since high school, but for some reason, I always lose ’em. (Some random person would borrow the notebooks then they wouldn’t give them back. And since they passed through different hands, I could no longer recall who last had them.)

So, I decided I’d just take pictures of them and post them online! (So I can never lose them.) I don’t have a scanner though, but that’s a good thing. With such poor quality of pictures it wouldn’t be easy to steal my works. (As if anyone would even try. hehe.) 🙂

Step 1: Draw on the sketchpad and take a picture of it. (Lol, you can still see the rough sketch in the background) I didn’t finish it since it’s just for trial anyway.

Step 2: Type in the dialogue/narration boxes. (I used to do it manually and it was a whole lot harder.)

Step 3: Create the speech bubbles. (I did a minor adjustment in the contrast and brightness. Whoops, I made it too sharp!)

Step 4: Do a little more editing. That’s more like it! 🙂

Tadaa! Forgive me for the cheesy emo theme. I couldn’t think of anything to write about then. ^^;;

So I guess that’s that.

Maybe I can pull this off. Maybe. 🙂
