People Can’t Ruin What They Don’t Know

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

I’m a very private person and I never post on social media. So a regular onlooker wouldn’t even know a single thing that’s going on with my life unless they put the effort to actually reach out and talk to me.

I was told that in this digital age, not having an active online presence is social suicide. But frankly, that option sounds better than the alternative. I don’t want to put my personal business out there for people to judge and gossip about.

So I’m really struggling to answer this prompt. A more fitting question for me would be, “What do most people know about you?” Nothing, nothing at all.

  1. I’m slowly withdrawing from my socials. In that I’m sharing really generic stuff that doesn’t point to me.

I get the social suicide bit. In the past I had a lot of what I posted used against me.
To be private is wise today

    1. Same!
I learned that personal things should only be shared with people you can trust. When you share your wins, jealous people will curse you. When you share your losses, they will laugh and gossip about you.

  2. A great move ..it’s absolutely true the more you go public the more chaos it’s creates

  3. Yes! Privacy is power
